The Eid ul Adha Market is tomorrow!
Eid ul Adha is about remembering to trust and celebrate God while sharing time with our loved ones. For many, celebrating Eid ul Adha with family, friends and food is not an option. This is a sad reality and an important reminder on these days of Dhul Hijjah.
Our amazing charity sponsor, Islamic Relief, believes that all families should be able to enjoy Eid the same way we do. By making a donation to the many programs Islamic Relief supports, including the Qurbani and Udhiya program, you are ensuring that families will receive support, such as food and meat to sustain themselves and their family.
Qurbani or Udhiya refers to a sacrifice that is made to bring one closer to God during Eid ul Adha. You can fulfill this by sacrificing some of your wealth to Islamic Relief’s Qurbani and Udhiya program and by giving to vulnerable families around the world.
Last year, Islamic Relief’s Qurbani and Udhiya program allowed for over 3 million people to enjoy Eid alongside their loved ones all around the world. The people receiving meat from donations are often widows, elderly, orphaned children, people with disabilities, refugees, and those living amongst conflict. Canadian families are also the recipients of the Qurbani and Udhiya program and this ensures families in our own neighbourhood are taken care of, as well.

You can donate your Qurbani and Udhiya through Islamic Relief here or visit their booth and speak directly to their team at the Eid ul Adha Market from Thursday August 8th to Sunday August 11th, 2019.
Thank you to Islamic Relief for supporting the Eid ul Adha Market and the Ramadan Market, and for all your efforts to ensure Muslim families around the world receive the support they need!
